All of the engagement photography for Aviya and Rotem was carried out by our most experience engagement photographer, around the old city and port of Yafo in Tel Aviv, Israel. The photographic scenes combined the look and feel of the ancient old city walls and the beautiful sunset backdrop of the Mediterranean Ocean.

It was a great place for an engagement photographer in Israel to be able to really enhance the moment. Starting the engagement photo shoot a little before golden hour and continuing until sunset, the engagement photographer captured the rich colors of the moment and the dramatic effect of the sun setting on the sea.

Love was in the air as Rotem re-enacted his proposal for the benefit of the camera, catching the unique moments both full on and in silhouette. The purpose of the engagement photography shot on the stairs leading up to the old city was to capture the timeless curves on the ancient alleyway, set in superb yellow Jerusalem stone.

Elroie Brit Milah Photography in Kfar Saba, Israel – July 2017

After receiving a last minute call, we were delighted to be able to provide all of the photographic services for the Brit Milah of Elroi in Kfar Saba, Israel. Located in the Sharon area of Israel, approximately 25 to 30 minutes north east of the coastal town of Tel Aviv, Kfar Saba is a suburban paradise for young families.

It was a low key event which took place in the home of the new grandparents. Attended by approximately twenty to thirty people, the atmosphere was informal and friendly. Elroie’s mother was nervous as her son entered in the Brit Milah, but overcame her nerves once the formal ceremony had been performed and was over.

In tradition with age old customs, the man who held the baby during the ceremony, referred to as the Sandek (Godfather) bestowed blessings on all who requested, once the ritual of the Brit Milah ceremony had been completed.

Pregnancy Portrait Photography

When a woman is pregnant, she is carrying new life inside of her. Even though she may not always feel her best during this time, she is nevertheless blossoming. As the new life grows inside of her, her body will change and adapt accordingly. It is the oldest visible miracle known to mankind.

What We Do

At Michael Laurence photography, we help to capture the special moments during pregnancy in the best possible way. We provide location based photography as well as studio photography in order to get the best photographs as an eternal keepsake.

Our Specialities

We specialize in pregnancy photoshoots and portrait photography in Israel. Located in the Sharon area, we can travel to anywhere in Israel. Photography during pregnancy is special. The moment only lasts a relatively short time, but a picture can last forever.

Feeling Comfortable and Enjoying the Moment

We start by making the expectant mother feel comfortable. We give ideas and are fully open to suggestions and requests. Before any shoot, we share all of our thoughts and ideas, explain to the expectant couple what to expect, advise them to act naturally and most of all, always enjoy the photo session.

The Photoshoot

All pregnancy photography shoots are ideally made in two stages. We begin in a recommended location such as a park, by the sea, overlooking an amazing view etc. We bring with all of the props needed for the shoot. This stage takes between 45 mins to 90 mins. Once the location based photo shoot is complete, we move to the studio to continue.

The Finished Product

Within two working days, we aim to have the first edited images available for review. For most pregnancy portrait photography shoots, we deliver between 25 and 75 hi-resolution digital images, a digital collage containing 6 to 10 of photographs (selected by the couple) and additionally create a slideshow in AVI format ready for upload to a video hosting channel of your choice.
